PTNR-MODE Object
The PTNR-MODE object type describes a set of characteristics for a group of sessions
(or allowable sessions) established between a local LU and its partner LU. It specifies
the set of characteristics that this group of sessions commonly shares, and is the (LU,
Mode) entry specified in the IBM Transaction Programmer’s Reference Manual for
LU Type 6.2.
You can add a PTNR-MODE before a session starts (static definition) or allow
SNAX/APC to add the PTNR-MODE object dynamically (using the mode name
extracted from the BIND image) when SNAX/APC receives an unsolicited BIND
request from a remote LU.
