RCVWINDOW number
specifies the number of request/response units (RUs) that SNAX/APC can receive
from the partner LU at one time. The partner LU will not send more RUs to
SNAX/APC until SNAX/APC sends a pacing response indicating that it can receive
another pacing window. The valid range is from 0 to 63, and the default value is 0
(which specifies that pacing is not used).
SENDWINDOW number
specifies the number of request/response units (RUs) that SNAX/APC can send to
the partner LU at one time. SNAX/APC will not send more RUs to the partner LU
until the partner LU sends a pacing response indicating that it can receive another
pacing window. The valid range is from 0 to 63, and the default value is 0 (which
specifies that pacing is not used).
Considerations
If the MAXSESSION attribute is set to be greater than 1, the local LU is a
parallel-session LU. As a result, the default PTNR-MODE object with the mode
name SNASVCMG is automatically added to the PTNR-LU object at the same time
PTNR-LU object is added, with the following attribute settings:
Only the following commands can act upon the PTNR-MODE object named
SNASVCMG:
ABORT
INFO
START
STATS
STATUS
STOP
Maximum RU (request unit) size is limited by the underlying access method.
SNAX/XF and SNAX/CDF support RUs up to 4,096 bytes. SNAX/APN supports
RUs up to 16,000 bytes.
