ADD TPN Command
REPLYDELAYEDONERROR YES indicates that SNAX/APC will not reply to a
waiting TP-READY verb until the LU is started or the maximum number of retries
has been attempted, whichever comes first.
REPLYDELAYEDONERROR NO indicates SNAX/APC replies to a waiting
TP-READY verb immediately after the first attempt is made to open the SNAX
access method.
The default value is NO.
SECURITYREQUIRED { NONE | USER }
NONE specifies the transaction program requires no security checking before
granting access privileges. Any incoming attach that specifies the transaction
program can access the transaction program.
USER specifies an attach must supply a valid user ID and password pair or a
valid user ID and the already-verified indicator before it can start a conversation
with the transaction program. If the attach includes a user ID and the
already-verified indicator, SNAX/APC verifies that the user ID exists locally
before granting access to the transaction program.
The default value is NONE.
SESSIONCONTROL { YES | NO }
YES specifies that the transaction program is authorized to issue the
ACTIVATE_SESSION and DEACTIVATE_SESSION session control verbs.
NO, the default value, specifies that the transaction program is not authorized to
issue the session control verbs.
Considerations
•
%06F1% is a reserved name for the CNOS service transaction program. It is
automatically added to the SNAX/APC process when the local LU is defined and
has the following attribute settings:
•
The TPN object named %06F1% is automatically brought up when the LU is started
and is brought down when the LU is stopped. You cannot explicitly add or delete
the TPN object named %06F1%.
•
A TPN object named %06F2% must be explicitly added to a Local LU that requires
a resyncronization TP. During backout processing, the user’s Sync point API will
use the TP named %06F2% for the exchange of Log Names GDS variable
(X’1211’) and Compare States GDS variable (X’1213’).
