INFO PTNR-MODE Command
PERIPHERAL-NODE
YES indicates that the partner LU resides on a peripheral node. It also implies that
the partner LU is a secondary LU (SLU) if the PARALLEL-SESSION-LU attribute
is set to NO.
NO indicates that the partner LU resides on a subarea node. It also implies that the
partner LU is a primary LU (PLU) if the PARALLEL-SESSION-LU attribute is set
to NO.
If the local LU is a parallel-session LU, or its underlying access method is a type 2.1
node LU, this indicator does not imply the partner LU’s role (SLU or PLU).
PARALLEL-SESSION-LU
displays whether or not the partner LU supports parallel sessions. YES indicates
that the partner LU is a parallel-session LU (or supports parallel sessions). NO
indicates that the partner LU is a single-session LU; therefore the local LU will not
initiate or expect any CNOS commands.
LOCAL-LU-SECURITY-ACCEPTANCE
returns the level of access security information that the local LU accepts on
allocation requests from the target remote (partner) LU.
NONE specifies the local LU accepts no security information from the partner
LU.
CONV specifies the local LU accepts a user ID and password pair from the
remote LU. The local LU does not accept the already-verified indicator.
ALREADYVERIFIED specifies the local LU accepts either a user ID and
password pair or a user ID and the already-verified indicator.
REMOTE-LU-SECURITY-ACCEPTANCE
returns the level of access security information that the remote LU accepts on
allocation requests sent by the local LU. The value returned is what is actually
defined at the remote LU. NONE indicates that no access security information is
accepted. CONV indicates conversation level access security information is
accepted; the partner LU accepts a user ID and password from SNAX/APC but will
not accept an ALREADY-VERIFIED indicator . ALREADY-VERIFIED indicates
that the remote (partner) LU accepts conversation level access security, which may
include a user ID and password or a user ID and the already-verified indication in
place of a password. N/A indicates that no session has been initiated.
INFO PTNR-MODE Command
The INFO PTNR-MODE command displays current attribute settings of the target
PTNR-MODE object.
