NAMES TPN Command
NAMES TPN Command
The NAMES TPN command displays all of the matching TPN names.
This example shows the request for information about all matching TPN objects that
have names beginning with DEPT:
-> ASSUME PROCESS $APC2
-> NAMES TPN *.DEPT*
The following display is returned in response to this request:
START Command
The START command initiates an object’s operation and places the object in the
STARTED state. If the SUB parameter is specified, the objects subordinate to the
specified object type are also started.
START is a sensitive command.

Considerations
To verify the successful completion of the START command, use the STATUS
command.
SNAX/APC accepts a START command while the parent object of the target object
is still in the STARTING state. In this case, the target object is first placed in the
