Table A-5 presents a full list of options defined by IBM. SNAX/APC has not

implemented all, or even most of these options. This is not unusual; VTAM, CICS,

AS/400, and all non-IBM vendors do not have full implementations either.

A description of the options that Tandem has implemented may be found after the table.

A complete set of descriptions may be found in the IBM document, Transaction

Programmer’s Reference Manual for LU Type 6.2.

Care should be taken when using option numbers alone as descriptors. IBM has

changed the number/name relationship several times, and usage varies across products;

for example, between CICS and VTAM. The most current classification is based on a

three-digit number. The relationship of number-to-function is shown in Figure A-1
