Base and Option Sets Supported by SNAX/APC
SNAX/APC Configuration and Management Manual—138787
A-7
203 Immediate allocation of a session. This option set allows a program to allocate a
contention-winner session only if one is immediately available; otherwise the allocation
is unsuccessful. A further description may be found in the SNAX/APC Application
Programming Manual.
213 Program-supplied user ID and password. This option set allows the program to
supply a user ID and password. A further description may be found in the SNAX/APC
Application Programming Manual.
290 Logging of data in a system log. This option set allows a program to record error
information in a system error log. SNAX/APC has an error log, but does not support the
LOG-DATA parameter of the SEND-ERROR or DEALLOCATE verbs.
291 Mapped conversation component. This option set allows implementation of a
mapped conversation LU services component program which processes mapped verbs.
This relates to the AL-PARTNER-TP-TYPE of the ALLOCATE verb. A further
description may be found in the SNAX/APC Application Programming Manual.
501 CHANGE-SESSION-LIMIT verb, local. This option set allows a program or
operator to make a change in the (LU, mode) session limit. SNAX/APC implements this
through SCF.
502 ACTIVATE-SESSION verb. This option set allows a program or operator to
activate LU-LU sessions. SNAX/APC implements this through SCF.
504 DEACTIVATE-SESSION verb. This option set allows a program or operator to
deactivate LU-LU sessions. SNAX/APC implements this through SCF.
505 LU definition verb. This option set allows a program or operator to specify the
operating parameters of its LU. SNAX/APC implements this through SCF.
601 MIN-CONWINNERS-TARGET parameter. This option set allows a program or
operator to specify the operating parameters of its LU. SNAX/APC implements this
option through SCF.
602 RESPONSIBLE(TARGET) parameter. This option set allows a program or
operator at the source LU to request a nonzero value for the target’s minimum number of
contention-winner sessions. SNAX/APC implements this through SCF.
603 DRAIN-TARGET(NO) parameter. This option set allows a program or operator at
the source LU to prevent the target LU from draining its allocation requests as a result
of resetting the (LU, mode) session limit to zero. SNAX/APC implements this through
SCF.
604 FORCE parameter. This option set allows a program or operator to specify that the
(LU, mode) session limit is to be reset to 0 even if the CNOS exchange between the
source LU and the target LU is unsuccessful. SNAX/APC implements this option
through SCF.
605 LU-LU session limit. This option set allows a program or operator to specify the
LU-LU session limit. SNAX/APC implements this option through SCF.
606 Locally known LU names. This option set allows a program or operator to specify
the locally known names of remote LUs. SNAX/APC implements this option through
SCF.
