Error 00038
•
When altering the MODENAME, DEFAULTMAXSESSION,
DEFAULTMINCONWINNER, DEFAULTMINCONLOSER, MAXAUTOACT,
RCVWINDOW, and SENDWINDOW attributes, the PTNR-MODE object must be
in the STOPPED state.
•
When altering the MAXSESSION, MINCONWINNER, MINCONLOSER, and
RESPONSIBLE attributes, the PTNR-MODE object must be in the STARTED state.
Recommended Action. Make sure that the PTNR-MODE object is in the proper
summary state for the attribute you are altering before you issue an ALTER
PTNR-MODE command.
Error 00038
Probable Cause. The ALTER command was rejected because it would have changed a
parallel session LU to a single session LU and this is not allowed.
The ALTER LU command fails.
Recommended Action. Change the LU to a single-session LU by deleting the LU and
then adding it with the session limit set to 1.
Error 00039
Probable Cause. Configuration file is no longer accessible and the automatic
configuration file switching has also failed. You cannot enter sensitive commands until
the situation is rectified.
Recommended Action. Use EMS (or your log file) to determine the course of events.
Find an accessible disk volume and use the CONFIG attribute of the ALTER PROCESS
command to create a new configuration file. Retry the command after the disk failure
has been remedied.
Error 00040
Probable Cause. Configuration file switching is in progress. This is an informational
message.
Recommended Action. Retry the command after the configuration file switching is
completed.
SNAXAPC 00038 The attempt to alter a parallel-session LU to a
single-session LU is not allowed.
SNAXAPC 00039 The configuration file is not accessible.
SNAXAPC 00040 The configuration file is currently being
switched
