Using SNAX/APC
This section provides detailed instruction on how to install and run SNAX/APC.

Installing SNAX/APC From the Distribution
Subvolume
The SNAX/APC distribution program files and other SNAX/APC distribution files are
described in alphabetical order in Table 3-1.

File Name Description
APCCDC The configuration database conversion tool. You will only need this file
if you were using a C20, or earlier, version of SNAX/APC that created a
(pre-SCF) database that now needs updating to the new format.
APCDDL Sample DDL for SNAX/APC verbs. This file contains standard data
definitions for COBOL, TAL, and C languages. A hardcopy version is
included as the first three appendixes of the SNAX/APC Application
Programming Manual.
APCHEX A server program needed by the APS program to do ASCII/EBCDIC and
ASCII/HEX conversions.
APCLMAP The APCOBJ binder listings for the trace program.
APCMSGS The SNAX/APC message file. This edit file contains controls and text
messages used by SNAX/APC. Your installation can change the controls
of these messages. (See text after this table for further details.)
