This version of the SNAX/APC Management Programming Manual (part number 111813)
is a revision of the previous version of the manual (part number 064526). It has been
changed to reflect several enhancements, new features, and upgrades. All changes in
technical content in this manual have been indicated with change bars. Technical
changes have been made in the following areas:
Section 3 This section, entitled “Elements of SPI Messages for SNAX/APC,” has the following
changes:
A discussion of the NULL object has been added.
The TPN object naming conventions discussion has been enhanced.
Section 4 This section, entitled“Common Definitions,” has the following changes:
The tokens ZSPI-TKN-ALLOW and ZSPI-TKN-SEGLIST have been added under
“Other Simple Tokens” in Table 4-1, “SPI Standard Definition Used by
SNAX/APC,” and in the descriptions that follow this table.
The token ZSPI-TKN-ALLOW has been added in the token descriptions that
follow Table 4-1.
Table 4-3, “Data Communications Standard Definition Used by SNAX/APC,” and
the descriptions that follow this table have been enhanced to add the tokens
ZCMK-TKN-CHFILE-MAPNAME, ZCMK-TKN-CHFILE-MAPNOTE, ZCMK-
TKN-CHMAP-BANNER, ZCMK-TKN-CHMAP-FILE-MOD, ZCMK-TKN-
CHMAP-NAME, ZCMK-TKN-CHMAP-NOTE, ZCMK-TKN-CHMAP-XFNAME,
ZCMK-TKN-SEGTYPE, and ZCMK-TKN-SNANAME.
Table 4-4, “SNAX/APC Tokens,” has been enhanced to add the tokens ZAPC-
TKN-CHAR-MAPPING-SUPP, ZAPC-TKN-REPLY-DELAYED-ON-ERR, ZAPC-
TKN-SNAX-MAX-RETRY-COUNT, ZAPC-TKN-ONE-STEP-READ, ZAPC-TKN-
SNAX-RETRY-COUNT, and ZAPC-TKN-SNAX-RETRY-TIMER. Several headings
in this table have been changed.
In the subsection entitled “Simple Tokens Used by SNAX/APC,” the following
changes have been made:
The ZAPC-TKN-CHAR-MAPPING-SUPP token description has been added.
The ZAPC-TKN-CONFIG-STATE token description has been enhanced to
include its use in the ALTER PROC command.
The ZAPC-TKN-CONFIG-XFNAME token description has been changed to
include the value ZAPC-VAL-CONFIG-STATE-SWITCH.
The ZAPC-TKN-CUR-MAXINRUSIZE token definition has been changed to
reflect the addition of this token to the INFO PTNR-MODE response buffer.
The ZAPC-TKN-CUR-MAXOUTRUSIZE token definition has been changed to
reflect the addition of this token to the INFO PTNR-MODE response buffer.
