Object Hierarchies A hierarchical relationship exists among the object types in the SNAX/APC
subsystem. All object types are subordinate to the SNAX/APC process. In addition to
this master hierarchy, other hierarchical relationships exist between some of the object
types. For example, a PTNR-MODE object is always subordinate to a PTNR-LU object.
Figure 3-1 shows the hierarchical relationships among the SNAX/APC objects.

Because of the object-type hierarchy, the following dependencies exist when you
configure the SNAX/APC subsystem:
Before you add a PTNR-LU object, you must add the LU with which it is
associated.
Before you add a PTNR-MODE object, you must add the PTNR-LU with which it
is associated.
Before you add a SESS object, you must add the PTNR-MODE with which it is
associated.
Before you add a TPN object, you must add the LU with which it is associated.
