The TPN Object The TPN object type, ZCOM-OBJ-TPN, is used when the object of a control or inquiry
operation is a local transaction program (TP) name entry known to the SNAX/APC
process..
The object name for the TPN object is tpn, and it has the following format:
$apc-process.local-lu.tpn
$apc-process
is the name of the SNAX/APC process.
local-lu
is the name of the parent LU object.
tpn
is the name of the TPN object. The name may consist of one to 16 characters
excluding the period (.). If the name contains an ampersand (&), a comma (,), a
single quotation mark (‘), a double quotation mark (“), a dollar sign ($), an asterisk
(*), a semicolon (;), left or right parentheses (()), or a back slash (\), then the name
must be enclosed in double quotation marks. For example, to enter the name
\&tp1, you would enter “\&tp1”.
The name may also be specified as a hexadecimal string, enclosed in a pair of %
symbols. If
tpn
is a hexadecimal string, it may consist of two, four, six, or eight
hexadecimal digits. The SNAX/APC process performs any necessary conversion.
