ZAPC-TKN-D-MAXINRUSIZE
(for INFO SESS command) specifies the default maximum number of bytes for an
incoming request/response unit (RU) . This value is taken from the PTNR-MODE
for the session..
(for ADD, ALTER, or INFO PTNR-MODE command) specifies the maximum size
of normal flow request units (RUs) that the local LU can receive over sessions
started with the partner mode. Valid values are from 16 through 16,000.
Although 16,000 is the maximum value allowed by SNAX/APC, the actual
maximum is 15,360. This is because SNAX/APC adjusts the value specified to the
closest RU size defined by SNA that is equal to or less than the given D-
MAXINRUSIZE value. The default value for this token is equal to the
MAXINRUSIZE attribute value specified in the SNAX/APC process startup
parameters. If MAXINRUSIZE is not specified, the default value is 256.
The D-MAXINRUSIZE token has the token type ZSPI-TYP-INT. The
programmatic commands that use this token are ZCOM-CMD-ADD, ZCOM-
CMD-ALTER, and ZCOM-CMD-INFO. The valid object types for this token are
PTNR-MODE (ADD, ALTER and INFO commands) and SESS (INFO command).
This token is always returned in the ZCOM-CMD-INFO response buffer.
ZAPC-TKN-D-MAXOUTRUSIZE
(for INFO SESS) specifies the default maximum number of bytes for an outgoing
request/response unit (RU). This value is taken from the PTNR-MODE for the
session.
(for ADD, ALTER, or INFO PTNR-MODE command) specifies the maximum size
of normal flow request units (RUs) that the local LU can send over sessions started
with the partner mode. Valid values are from 16 through 16,000. Although 16,000
is the maximum value allowed by SNAX/APC, the actual maximum is 15,360.
This is because SNAX/APC adjusts the value specified to the closest RU size
defined by SNA that is equal to or less than the given D-MAXOUTRUSIZE value.
The default value for this token is equal to the MAXOUTRUSIZE attribute value
specified in the SNAX/APC process parameters. If MAXOUTRUSIZE is not
specified, the default value is 256.
The D-MAXOUTRUSIZE token has the token type ZSPI-TYP-INT. The
programmatic commands that use this token are ZCOM-CMD-ADD, ZCOM-
CMD-ALTER, and ZCOM-CMD-INFO. The valid object types for this token are
PTNR-MODE and SESS. This token is always returned in the ZCOM-CMD-INFO
response buffer.
