Abstract

This manual describes how to use the SNAX/APN CRT and ITI application

programming interfaces to communicate with 3270-type devices in an attached SNA

subarea network. Also included is information about the SNAX Application Logical

Unit (SNALU) interface, the EXtended Logon Facility (XLF), and the Enhanced Logon

Facility (ELF). This manual is for programmers who develop applications that

communicate with dependent LUs

SNAX/APN now provides the Enhanced Logon Facility (ELF). ELF is similar to

the existing feature, the EXtended Logon Facility (XLF).

description of Dependent LU Support which includes XLF and ELF.
