Statistical Counters
The CMI START LINE command resets the line counters, and the
CMI START PU command resets the physical unit counters. You can
reset either line or PU counters by using the CMI STATUS command,
which has the following syntax:
STATUS { LINE | PU }
object-name
, RESET
Your program can also reset these counters as an option of the
VERB^STATISTICS (see the STATISTICS entry in Section 2, "Verb
Directory," later in this manual). The CMI STOP LINE and STOP PU
commands do not reset the counters.
REQMS Modifier of the CMI ADD PU Command
In configuring a gateway line, use REQMS ON if $SSCP is to
respond to a host-generated ACTPU with RSP(ACTPU) format 1
(vector key H"07"). Use REQMS OFF if $SSCP is to respond with
format 0; thus, the host SSCP will not attempt to send REQMS
requests or NMVTs that request network information, because the
format 0 response to the ACTPU indicates that the PU does not
support FMD requests from the SSCP.
Note that the use of the REQMS modifier is the same whether your
application responds to REQMS or NMVTs.
For a primary line, the REQMS modifier has no effect.
