CLOSE-SESSION Request Screen Description
SESSION-ID
Is the session ID of the current APS session. This field is assigned automatically by
APS and is not modifiable by the APS user.
CLOSE-SESSION Reply Screen Description
Return Code
Displays the value of the verb reply RETURN-CODE in decimal followed by a
standard label for the return code.
System Error
Is a computational qualifier for RETURN-CODE. This screen line displays SYSTEM-
ERROR-CODE of the verb reply—first in decimal, next in hexadecimal, and
followed by text.
If RETURN-CODE is RC-SYNTAX-ERROR, SYSTEM-ERROR-CODE indicates the
ordinal position of the parameter in error discounting the verb code and
session ID. If the verb causes an SNA negative response from the session
partner, the first 2 bytes of the negative response are returned here.
User Error
Is a computational qualifier for SYSTEM-ERROR-CODE. At present, this field is
used only for the last 2 bytes of negative SNA responses and LUSTAT messages.
The screen line displays the field first in decimal and next in hexadecimal. No text
is displayed for this field.
Retry Action
Indicates whether an unsuccessful request should be retried. The screen line
displays the decimal value for this indicator followed by a standard label.
