To execute this verb in an APS session, display the request screen by pressing F1, enter
the required parameters, and press the SEND function key (F12) to cause SNAX/HLS
to open the session.
OPEN-SESSION Request Screen Description
SESSION-ID
Is the session ID of the current APS session. This field is assigned automatically by
APS and is not modifiable by the APS user.
LU Name
Enter the name of the SNAX/HLS LU to be used for this session. The name must
be in the format:
$HLS–process–name.qualifiers
the qualifiers name a specific LU and the actual entities they refer to depend on the
Tandem SNA access method being used.
