SA: SET-ATTRIBUTES
Verb (F11)
The SET-ATTRIBUTES request allows the APS user to dynamically change selected
options of the current PROFILE. The setting of data translation, type of SNA response,
and a large message option (LMO) can be affected by this verb. Figure 6-17 shows a
sample screen.
The SET-ATTRIBUTES request affects only verbs executed subsequent to the SET-
ATTRIBUTES request. In other words, if a SET-ATTRIBUTES verb turns off
SNAX/HLS translation of data, data previously queued for transmission by SEND-
DATA verbs is still translated. SEND-DATA verbs issued after the set request are not
be translated.

SET-ATTRIBUTES Request Screen Description
SESSION-ID
Is the session ID of the current APS session. This field is assigned automatically by
APS and is not modifiable by the APS user.
