Translation Ind
Specifies the new setting of the TRANSLATE PROFILE attribute for this session.
A value of N instructs SNAX/HLS not to perform any data translation on send and
receive verb functions. A value of Y instructs SNAX/HLS to translate all user data
sent or received.
Large Message Option
Specifies the new setting of the LMO PROFILE attribute for this session. A value
of N or n signifies that SNAX/HLS is to assume responsibility for message
chaining. A value of Y signifies that the APS user assumes responsibility for
message chaining. See “LARGE-MESSAGE-OPTION” in Section 3, “Sessions” for
more information on LMO.
Response Type
Specifies the new setting of the RESPONSE-TYPE PROFILE attribute for this
session. A value of 1 indicates that the SNAX/HLS server requests DR/ER type 1
responses. A value of 2 indicates that the SNAX/HLS server requests DR/ER type
2 responses. A value of 3 indicates that the SNAX/HLS server requests DR/ER 1
and 2 responses.
SET-ATTRIBUTES Reply Screen Description
Return Code
Displays the value of the verb reply RETURN-CODE in decimal followed by text.
System Error
Is a computational qualifier for RETURN-CODE. This screen line displays the
SYSTEM-ERROR-CODE value of the verb reply—first in decimal, next in
hexadecimal, and followed by text.
If RETURN-CODE is RC-SYNTAX-ERROR, the SYSTEM-ERROR-CODE indicates
the ordinal position of the parameter in error discounting the verb code and
session ID.
User Error
Is unused in this reply.
Retry Action
Indicates whether an unsuccessful request should be retried. The screen line
displays the decimal value for this indicator followed by text.
SD: SEND-DATA Verb

The SEND-DATA request causes a message to be sent to the session partner. Up to 80
bytes of data can be included in the message.
