SS: SEND-STATUS
Verb (F8)
The SEND-STATUS request causes SNAX/HLS to send the SNA LUSTAT message.
LUSTAT allows two session partners to exchange status. Some LUSTATs are reserved
by SNA and others are available for use by any session partner. See the SNA
references listed in “About This Manual” for more information on SNA status
messages. Figure 6-19 shows a sample screen.

SEND-STATUS Request Screen Description
SESSION-ID
Is the session ID of the current APS session. This field is assigned automatically by
APS and is not modifiable by the APS user.
System Error
Enter the first two bytes of the status in hexadecimal.
User Error
Enter the second two bytes of the status in hexadecimal.
