SHOW Command The SHOW command displays the current values maintained in the working image
for an object or a specific attribute of an object.
SHOW { PROFILE } [
attribute
]
{ INIT }
{ BIND }
In the case of showing BIND attributes, some attribute value may be overridden or
outlawed by specific FM and TS values. These are SNA rules. For example, in FM
Profile 2, only single-RU chains are allowed; the setting of the PRI-MULTI-RU and
SEC-MULTI-RU attributes are therefore ignored.
The display produced by the SHOW command indicates this potential problem by
flagging the questionable field with an asterisk (*) to the left of the value. In
determining which of two conflicting pieces of data are in conflict, the program
assumes that the FM and TS Profile numbers are correct. If warning (*) is produced, a
short explanatory note appears on the bottom of the listing.
