PS-USAGE
This BIND attribute has the value type 22-hex-digits. The default value is all
zeros.
PS-USAGE specifies the presentation services usage field. The field consists of 11
bytes of data and is entered by specifying 22 bytes of hexadecimal data. Since the
interpretation of this data is application dependent, SNAX/HLS cannot interpret this
information.
RECOVERY-MODE
This BIND attribute has the possible keywords LOSER or SYMMETRIC. The default is
LOSER.
RECOVERY-MODE specifies which partner has the responsibility for recovery. The
options are LOSER or SYMMETRIC. The identity of the loser is provided by the
CONTENTION-WINNER attribute.
SEND-RECV
This BIND attribute has the possible keywords FDUX, HDUX-CONT, or HDUX-FF. The
default is HDUX-FF.
SEND-RECV specifies how traffic flows will be managed for the half session. The
value FDUX states that messages flow in either direction independently. The value
HDUX-CONT specifies that traffic flows alternately in either direction, with each side
capable of initiating a chain. The value HDUX-FF specifies that traffic flows
alternately in either direction, as controlled by a CDI (change direction indicator).
SEQNO-USE
This BIND attribute has the value type
yesno
. The default value is NO.
SEQNO-USE specifies whether sequence numbers are available for synchronization
point resynchronization. This option is used only for FM Profile 4. This field is not
currently interpreted by SNAX/HLS.

This BIND attribute has the possible values 2, 3, 4, or 7. The default value is 4.
TS-Profile specifies the Transmission Services Profile number.
USER-DATA
This BIND attribute has the value type

USER-DATA is optional text that is sent in the BIND message and received by the
secondary. Up to 65 characters of data can be specified. Note that only unstructured
data can be represented in this form. This field can be overridden by text in the
HLS-OPEN verb. See the notes earlier in this section on how string data is
represented.
