SNAX/HLS Configuration and Control Manual

Objects and Attributes
Using the HLSRDT Utility
4–44 104705 Tandem Computers Incorporated
SEC-MAX-RU
This BIND attribute has the value type
rusize
. The default value is 1,024.
SEC-MAX-RU specifies the largest RU that the secondary half session will send. See
the discussion for PRI-MAX-RU.
SEC-RECV-PACING-SIZE
This BIND attribute has the value type
integer
, and its value is in the range 0
through 63. The default value is 0.
This BIND attribute specifies the size of the secondary receive pacing window. It
governs the transmissions from primary to secondary. A value of 0 indicates that no
pacing is performed, in which case other flow control techniques should be used (such
as half-duplex flip-flop) to prevent overloading the transmission and queuing
capabilities.
SEC-RQ-MODE
This BIND attribute has the possible keywords IMMEDIATE or DELAYED. The default
is IMMEDIATE.
SEC-RQ-MODE specifies whether the secondary half session will use IMMEDIATE or
DELAYED request mode. See the discussion under the topic PRI-RQ-MODE for
details
SEC-SEND-PACING-SIZE
This BIND attribute has the value type
integer
, and its value is in the range 0
through 63. The default value is 0.
SEC-SEND-PACING-SIZE specifies the size of the secondary send pacing window. It
governs the transmissions from secondary to primary. A value of 0 indicates that no
pacing is performed, in which case other flow control techniques should be used (such
as half-duplex flip-flop) to prevent overloading the transmission and queuing
capabilities.
SEC-SEND-STAGING
This BIND attribute has the value type
yesno
. It specifies single or two stage pacing
to be used by the secondary-to-primary normal SNA flow. The default value is NO,
which specifies single stage pacing.
SEC-TWO-PHASE-COMMIT
This BIND attribute has the value type
yesno
. The default value is NO.
SEC-TWO-PHASE-COMMIT specifies whether two-phase commit is used for the
synchronization point protocol. This value is defined only for LU session type 6.1.
