ABEND Command The ABEND command can only be issued from a SNAX/HLS communications session
running on the same system as the SNAX/HLS server process. The ABEND
command terminates the currently open SNAX/HLS primary process. The owner of
the SNAX/HLS process, or $SUPER.SUPER, is the only user who can execute this
command. This command allows system programmers to take a snapshot dump of
the SNAX/HLS process for problem determination. A SNAX/HLS backup process, if
running, takes over.

Consideration
If you want to stop both the primary and backup processes, use the command
interpreter’s STOP command, specifying the name of the process pair.
