Session BIND parameters
The application interface PROFILE shows the information listed below. For further
details on these options, see “PROFILE Attributes” in Section 4, “Building the
Resource Definition Table.”
Accept Bind
Specifies whether SNAX/HLS will use the BIND images carried in CINIT
messages or replace it with the one defined in the RDT. (This option only exits if
SNAX/CDF is being used as the Tandem SNA access method.)
Bid Rejection
Specifies how SNAX/HLS treats bracket bid rejects.
Encode ERI
Specifies whether the application interface is given the value of the ERI bit in
incoming messages.
Pipeline LU Ind
Specifies whether or not the session is treated as a pipeline LU.
Response Type
Specifies whether or not DR1, DR2, or DR1&DR2 are used on requests issued by
this half-session.
Table Name
The name of the mapping table in use by the session. It is only displayed if a
mapping table other than the standard ASCII-to-EBCDIC translation is used.
Table Notes
A description of the mapping table in use by the session. It is obtained from the
mapping file and is only displayed if a mapping table other than the standard
ASCII-to-EBCDIC translation is in use by the session.
Omit Modem Wait
Specifies whether or not to establish the session immediately.
User Responses
Specifies whether or not the application program is in control of issuing responses.
Want Bind Data
Specifies whether or not user text included on BIND and CINIT messages should
be delivered to the application, or whether the data should include or exclude the
requester-ID and password fields.
