OPEN Command The OPEN command causes HLSCOM to direct all subsequent commands to the
indicated instance of a SNAX/HLS server.
OPEN [\system-name.]HLS-process-name
\ system-name
is a valid Expand system name and is the location of the desired SNAX/HLS
process.
If no system-name is supplied, the local system is implied.
HLS-process-name
is the name of the SNAX/HLS process.
Consideration
Standard Expand security passwords must be in place for the OPEN command to
access a network SNAX/HLS process.
Examples
This command opens the HLS process $ABC on the local system:
@ OPEN $ABC
This command opens the process $ABC on the Expand node \DALLAS:
@ OPEN \DALLAS.$ABC
