Using the HLSCOM Utility

Default Trace Flags
Shows the activities selected for tracing with the INITIAL^TRACE configuration
parameter. See Section 5 “Operating SNAX/HLS” for more information on this
configuration parameter. If tracing has started (refer to the HLSCOM TRACE
command), all activity specified here is traced for each session that becomes active.
The valid flags are:
V Specifies verb request/reply tracing
D Specifies DFC tracing
S Specifies SNALU I/O tracing
L Specifies LU service manager tracing
A Specifies all levels of trace to be collected (V,D, S, and L)
Statistics Section
Receive Depth
Shows the maximum number configured using the RECEIVEDEPTH
configuration parameter, the current number, and the historical maximum number
of messages delivered to SNAX/HLS that are yet unanswered. Note that the
request that obtained this information is contributing one count to the current
value.
Openers
Shows the maximum number configured, the current number, and the historical
maximum number of openers known to SNAX/HLS. The configured value is set
by the MAX^POCB parameter. (Presently, the value is the number of configured
openers in MAX^POCB plus 16 that are reserved for SPI openers.) Note that the
request that obtained this information contributes one count to the current value.
Sessions
Shows the maximum number configured, the current number, and the historical
maximum number of of sessions known to SNAX/HLS. The configured value is
set by the MAX^LUS parameter.
Storage Utilization Section
Buffer
Shows pool statistics for the buffer pool. If the pool has not been allocated, this
line is omitted.
Memory
Shows pool statistics for the extended data segment.
Configured Size
Shows the total number of bytes available to the pool. For the memory pool, this
value grows as additional disk space is set aside for the backing store for the pool.
