STARTED
Indicates that the session is active. The detailed state information contained in
the response to a STATUS
LU-specifier
, DETAIL request should be
examined for further details.
SUSP
Indicates that the session is active, but no data traffic can flow. In SNA terms,
this state might exist briefly at session startup, indicating that the BIND has
flowed but the SDT has not yet flowed.
STOPPING
indicates that the session is being terminated. In SNA terms, this means the
SHUTD request has flowed, and the session is awaiting the UNBIND.
Trace Flags
Shows the type of trace currently enabled for the session. The field can contain a
combination of the mnemonic letters listed below:
V Specifies verb request/reply tracing.
D Specifies DFC tracing.
S Specifies SNALU I/O tracing.
L Specifies LU service manager tracing.
If all four options are enabled, the word All appears. If none of the options are
enabled, this is blank.
Verb Code
This field displays the current verb in progress. If several verbs are queued, the
verb in execution is displayed. If no verb is in execution, the text No Verb is
displayed.
Sense Data
The most recently sent and received SNA sense codes are displayed here. The
presence of SNA sense codes typically signals a fatal error and impending session
termination. The first four digits are the hexadecimal value of the SNA system-
sense field. The next four digits are the hexadecimal value of the SNA user-sense
field.
