Chain_Send
Tracks the state of the SNA chain send portion of the SNAX/HLS server. User
messages are divided into maximum RU size segments by the SNAX/HLS server,
unless LMO is in effect. As the SNAX/HLS server transmits the chain elements,
this field shows the following states:
not_in_use
The FSM is not initialized or is not used in this session.
betc
The FSM is between chains. No user message is being transmitted.
inc
The FSM is in chain. A user message is being transmitted to the session
partner.
Chain_Recv
Tracks the state of the SNA chain receive portion of the SNAX/HLS server.
Messages from the session partner are received as chains of smaller units and
automatically assembled by the SNAX/HLS server, unless LMO is in effect. This
FSM displays the state of the chain assembly with the following displays:
not_in_use
The FSM is not initialized or is not used in this session.
betc
The FSM is between chains. No user message is currently being received.
inc
The FSM is in chain. A user message from the session partner is being
assembled or processed under LMO.
purge
A negative response to a message from the session partner has been sent and
the chain is being purged. This situation is typically associated with
termination of the session.
