The changes to the SNAX/HLS Configuration and Control Manual in this version, part
number 104705, override the text in the manual with the previous part number,
068530. The majority of the changes are changes to style and wording. However,
major changes are mentioned in this section along with the chapter references.
Changes are noted with change bars. The changes are as follows:
Guardian 90 is now the Tandem NonStop Kernel.
Section 4 is now “Using the HLSRDT Utility.”
Section 5 is now “Operating SNAX/HLS.”
There is a new addition to the definition of the SSCPTEXTSIZE number in Section
6, “Using the HLSCOM Utility.”
There is a new addition to the definition of the TWOSTEP number in Section 6.
There are two new considerations, CHARMAPFILE and CHARMAPNAME,
added to the ALTER command in Section 6.
Under the PEEK Command in Section 6, there are two new configuration
parameters: Exits Enabled and Buffer Size.
In Section 7, “Interpreting SNA Protocol,” there is a new subsection, “Size of
Received Messages.”
