RDTDATA Is an RDT segment that is the result of compiling the preceding
sample RDTTEXT file. This file can serve as a starter RDT for
SNAX/HLS initialization. To prepare for application processing, your
system programmer should compile RDTTEXT and review the
compiler listing to determine the applicability of the sample
PROFILES to the needs of your installation.
The default location for RDTDATA is $SYSTEM.SYSTEM. If you
update this file, you should move it to another location because
running an Install causes REPSUBSYS to overwrite the default
RDTDATA file.
See Section 4, “Building the Resource Definition Table” for more
information.
RDTTEXT Is an EDIT file that is the sample source that was compiled by
HLSRDT to produce the sample object file RDTDATA (see below).
This file contains a collection of standard PROFILES and is offered as
a starter. Your system programmer should review its contents for
applicability to your installation.
The default location for RDTTEXT is $SYSTEM.SYSTEM. If you
update this file, you should move it to another location because
running an Install causes REPSUBSYS to overwrite the default
RDTTEXT file.
See Section 4, “Building the Resource Definition Table” for more
information.
SHLSTMPL Is the source for the EMS message templates from which ZHLSTMPL
is derived.
ZHLSCOB Is the DDL output file for COBOL85 derived from ZHLSDDL.
ZHLSDDL Is the DDL input file for the SPI definitions for SNAX/HLS.
ZHLSTACL Is the DDL output file for TACL derived from ZHLSDDL.
ZHLSSEGF Is the TACL segment form of the file ZHLSTACL.
ZHLSC Is the DDL output file for C derived from ZHLSDDL.
ZHLSTAL Is the DDL output file for TAL derived from ZHLSDDL.
ZHLSTMPL Is the template file for defining the text of EMS and LOG messages
produced by the HLS server, and error messages produced by
HLSCOM.
Where to Put Files The following paragraphs offer recommendations on where to put some of the files
making up the SNAX/HLS release.
HLSCOM Operator
Interface
For operator convenience, it is recommended that HLSCOM be put on
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.
