Using HLSRUN to Configure PATHWAY

CPU
is the CPU number used while starting the HLSOBJ and the Pathway monitor
process.
DEBUG
is used to debug the HLSOBJ file itself and should be used in collaboration
with Tandem SSG support staff.
LIB
file-name
designates which library contains your installation’s customized routines. If
specified, the file is located using the current #PMSEARCHLIST.
LOG
file-name
designates the file that the HLSOBJ file uses for its logging device. If this
parameter is omitted, the home terminal is selected. Note that selecting the
home terminal as the logging medium might be an incorrect choice. For more
information, see the discussion of logging considerations in Section 5,
“Operating SNAX/HLS.” If specified, and the file name is that of a disk file,
then the file is located using the current #PMSEARCHLIST.
NOLOG
suppresses logging. If the LOG and the NOLOG options appear in the
HLSRUN command, NOLOG is the overriding option.
PATHWAY
subvolume
designates the subvolume containing the Pathway programs. If omitted,
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM is assumed.
RDT
file-name
designates the file that the the HLSOBJ file uses as the source for the RDT data
file. If omitted, the file named RDTDATA on the same subvolume as the
HLSOBJ file is assumed. If specified, the file is located using the current
#PMSEARCHLIST.
SESSIONS
session-limit
designates the maximum number of sessions the SNAX/HLS server allows. If
omitted, 100 is assumed.
SWAP
designates the disk that Pathway’s terminal control programs (TCPs) will use
for swapping. If omitted, Pathway’s defaults apply.
