ZSPI–TKN–MANAGER
is the name of the SNAX/HLS process.
ZEMS–TKN–EMPHASIS
contains the value ZSPI–VAL–TRUE, indicating that this is a potentially critical
event.
ZEMS–TKN–CONSOLE–PRINT
contains the value ZSPI–VAL–TRUE. This token is described in the Event
Management Service (EMS) Manual.
(ZEMS–TKN–) CPU, CRTPID, GENTIME, LOGTIME, PIN, SYSTEM, and USERID
are standard EMS tokens described in the Event Management Service (EMS) Manual.
Cause. An inbound message was discarded because of memory congestion. Memory
congestion might result because the rate at which the messages are arriving exceeds
the rate at which the messages are being processed by the program. Another cause for
memory congestion could be that the copy of SNAX/HLS is overloaded.
Effect. The session is terminated.
Recovery. You should determine whether receive pacing is being used and, if not,
whether you can introduce it. Ensure that the pacing values are not too big and reduce
them if failures continue to occur.
You can also try to make more memory available to SNAX/HLS, either by directing
the process to a less congested disk for swapping or by using the DATAPAGES
configuration parameter.
You can also try redistributing the load to other copies of SNAX/HLS.
