Standard EMS
Definitions
Definitions whose names begin with ZEMS– are standard Event Management Service
(EMS) definitions. The standard EMS definitions used in the management
programming interfaces to SNAX/HLS consist of simple tokens used in SNAX/HLS
event messages and header tokens available to all applications using EMS.
All standard EMS definitions are fully described in the Event Management Service
(EMS) Manual. Information specific to these SNAX/HLS definitions is given below:
ZEMS–TKN–CONSOLE–PRINT
always contains the value ZSPI–VAL–TRUE, indicating that all SNAX/HLS event
messages are displayed on the operator console controlled by the compatibility
distributor ($Z0).
ZEMS–TKN–EVENTNUMBER
contains the event number of a SNAX/HLS event message. These event numbers
and their associated event messages are described in Section 8, “Event
Management.”
Standard Data
Communications
Definitions
Definitions whose names begin with ZCOM– are standard data communications
definitions. The standard data communications definitions used in the management
programming interfaces to SNAX/HLS consist of simple tokens and extensible
structured tokens. They are used in SNAX/HLS commands, responses, event
messages, error lists, command numbers, object types, token values, and fixed
structures used in other definitions.
The command numbers and their associated commands are described in Section 7,
“Commands and Responses.”
All standard data communications definitions are fully described in the
Communications Management Programming Manual. Information specific to these
SNAX/HLS definitions is given below:
ZCOM–OBJ–NULL
does not represent a SNAX/HLS object. It is used only in the GETVERSION and
LISTOBJECTS commands.
ZCOM–OBJ–PROCESS
is the SNAX/HLS process.
ZCOM–OBJ–SESSION
is a session controlled by the SNAX/HLS process.
