Operational Notes
The session is unbound and closed, and all resources allocated to it are deleted.
Because the file–system connection to the SNALU interface is closed, the partner
LU receives an UNBIND or CTERM message, depending on whether the partner
LU is a secondary or primary LU, respectively. Any operations pending by the
local application are completed with RC–SESSION–NOT–ALLOCATED.
This command is useful when a session is stuck. This might occur, for example,
when the application program that allocated a session died unexpectedly without
deallocating that session. This stuck–session condition can arise in Pathway
applications when the server interface is in use and the Pathway thread dies.
After this command is executed, the aborted session no longer exists.
This command requires medium security; that is, the requester must belong to the
SUPER group or share the same group number as is held by the SNAX/HLS
process itself.
