Figure 7-1 on page 7-3 shows an example of a SNAX/APN configuration in which PLU
applications on a NonStop system can initiate sessions with remote SLUs (SNA
devices) in the adjacent SNA subarea network (but not vice versa). The SNAX/APN
SCF configuration alters the subsystem to allow SNAX/APN operation and adds the
LINE, remote PU, and remote LU objects. This example applies to SNAX/APN LEN
Node and End Node.
Notes.
1. A SNAX/APN line is configured as primary and nonswitched by default. For SNAX/APN,
point-to-point lines also can be configured with STATION NEGOTIABLE.
2. On SNAX/APN lines, the PU and LU objects are distinguished into local and remote.
