Access to SNA Devices
Access to SNA Devices
Applications on a NonStop system can initiate LU-LU sessions with SNA devices
located in a subarea network, and by using either XLF or ELF, SNA devices located in
a subarea network can initiate LU-LU sessions with applications on a NonStop system.
When the NonStop system and the subarea network communicate through an Ethernet
network, throughput is fast and a great number of devices can access the applications
on the NonStop system. Figure 10-2 shows NonStop system access to SNA devices.
