The IEEE Specifications
Figure 10-5 shows the relationship of the three IEEE-defined Ethernet layers compared
to the ISO and SNA models.
The IEEE layers of logical link control and medium access control contain functionality
similar to the data link levels of both the ISO and SNA protocol stacks.
