Object Types and Object Names
The individual SNAX/XF and SNAX/APN object types (APPL, LINE, LU, PROCESS,
PU, SESSION, and SUBSYS) are described in the following subsections. These
descriptions tell how each object is defined for SNAX/XF and SNAX/APN, and give the
naming conventions and applicable object states.
The Null Object Type
In SNAX/XF and SNAX/APN, the null object type is supported only for the VERSION
command; it has no relationship to any of the other supported object types.
The null object type is not a true object type, but indicates that the command can be
issued without specifying an object type. For more information about the null object
type, see the SCF Reference Manual for G-series RVUs.

Note. Line-handler process (PROCESS) objects do not appear in SCF displays as part of the
object hierarchy. The PROCESS object type is provided for special purposes only, as
described later in this section.
