Considerations When Using Multiple Service-Manager Processes
When the SCF SETMANAGER command is issued, all subsequent SCF commands
are directed to the service manager named. If a SETMANAGER command is not
issued, the default $SSCP is used. Issuing a SETMANAGER command without
identifying a specific service-manager process resets the service-manager process to
the default.
In the following example, an INFO LINE, SERVICEMANAGER or INFO LINE, DETAIL
command is issued when a line has not been added to any service manager:
INFO LINE $SNA1,SERVICEMANAGER
The INFO LINE command completes successfully and displays the following message:
ServiceManager ... UNKNOWN
SNAX Info LINE:
Line *Station *Switched *Duplex *Retries *Timeout
\SYS2.$SNAP1 PRIMARY OFF HALF 3 00:00:05.000
