PRIMARY Command
PRIMARY Command
The PRIMARY command changes which CPU is the primary CPU for a process.
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file. file-spec must be a partially or fully qualified file name. If this option is not
specified, the output is sent to the home terminal.
object-name
is the name of the line handler (PROCESS object) or service manager (SUBSYS
object) that is to have its primary and backup CPUs switched.
number
is the CPU number of the backup process.
Consideration
The effect of the PRIMARY command for line I/O processes differs depending upon the
configuration.
