STATS Command
UNKNOWN. The object states are described in Section 12, Objects for SNAX/XF
and SNAX/APN.
Considerations
The write retries counter produced using the STATS LINE command is not the
same as the retries value created using the Measure LINE command. (Measure
and SCF use entirely different methods of counter allocation.)
The value returned by the STATS command is maintained by the SNAX/XF and
SNAX/APN line-handler process and is not constrained by any global definition
imposed by Measure. The Measure number is the sum of all retries at the point at
which the processor communicates with the channel, and includes WRITE retries
and READ retries induced by both the line-handler process and the hardware
(such as channel errors).
You cannot request specific statistics counters using this command; all counters
are always displayed (and all are reset if RESET is specified).
Examples
The following examples illustrate the STATS command as applied to the LINE, LU, PU
and SUBSYS objects.
