STATUS Command
Name
indicates the name of the line to which the corresponding PU is connected. This
attribute is not returned unless the specified switched PU is connected.
State
indicates the current state of the PU object. For a description of the valid object
states for PU objects, see Section 12, Objects for SNAX/XF and SNAX/APN.
Test
indicates whether diagnostic testing of the specified PU object is currently in
progress. For switched floating PUs, this attribute is not returned unless the given
PU is connected. No diagnostic testing is currently supported for PUs under any
line type, so this field always displays INACTIVE.
PUState
indicates detailed internal state information pertaining to this PU. The following are
valid values that may appear under the PUState heading:
ACTIVE
indicates that the PU has been defined and initialized. Consequently, it can
transmit and receive end-user data.
ACTPURSPPD
indicates that the PU is waiting for a response to an SNA ACTPU request.
Note that this state only applies to PUs on primary lines.
ALKSTARSPPD
indicates that the PU is waiting for a response to an SNA ADDLINK STATION
request.
CONTACTED
indicates that the PU has been contacted with the SNA CONTACT command.
CONTACTPD
indicates that the PU is waiting for an SNA CONTACT command.
DACTPURQPD
indicates that the PU is waiting for an SNA DACTPU request. Note that this
state applies only to PUs on secondary lines.
DACTPURSPPD
indicates that the PU is waiting for a response to an SNA DACTPU request.
Note that this state applies only to PUs on primary lines.
