APPLFILE
with IBMKANJI. Otherwise, the default value for ALLOWEDMIX is computed using the
following formula:
lu-recsize + 2
———————— + 1
3
where LUrecsize is the value defined for the LU’s RECSIZE attribute.
If the DBCS attribute is specified as NONE, the ALLOWEDMIX attribute is ignored.
APPLFILE
For SNAX/XF, APPLFILE specifies the object-file name of the application process to be
associated with an APPL object.
For SNAX/APN, APPLFILE specifies the object-file name of an application on the local
node to be run when this LU object is invoked. This attribute is valid only for the
TLOGMGR LU—that is, when the PROTOCOL attribute is set to LOGON. The value of
this attribute is passed to the SNAX Creator-2 process at logon. For further
information, see the SNAX Creator-2 Configuration and Control Manual.
If you are using the SNAX Creator, this attribute is used when an application process is
started using the Creator. To start an application process, the Creator must know the
name of the file where the application process object code resides. With the SNAX
Creator, the APPLFILE attribute is required only if the user logon string begins with
either the TACL keyword or the APPLFILE keyword.
If you are using the SNAX Creator process to establish sessions only with Pathway
applications, the APPLFILE attribute is not necessary. For further information, see the
SNAX/XF LU Network Services Manual.
If you are using SNAX Creator-2, the value of the APPLFILE attribute is passed to the
SNAX Creator-2 process at logon. For further information, see the SNAX Creator-2
Configuration and Control Manual.
The file name can be in uppercase or lowercase. SNAX converts all lowercase letters
to uppercase. If the volume and subvolume are not specified in the file name, the
current default volume and subvolume for the SCF session are used.
This attribute can be removed with the ALTER APPL command by specifying a null
string (" ") as the value.
Default: Null string (" ")
Value: NonStop system object-file name
Objects: APPL
