APPLID - for SNAX/XF Only
APPLID - for SNAX/XF Only
APPLID defines the ID names of host applications that can be accessed on a
secondary line. In the case of passthrough, when you define an LU on a secondary line
with PASSTHRU ON, LUs on primary lines anywhere in the HP network of NonStop
systems can use the APPLID to establish passthrough LU-LU sessions with host-
resident applications whose ID names match the APPLID. The APPLID attribute can
specify a sequence of from 1 through 99 application names.
If more than one ID name is specified, the list must be enclosed in parentheses. The
format of each application name is from 1 through 8 alphanumeric or special
characters ($, #, or @), the first of which is alphabetic. Each application name must
match the name of the host application defined to VTAM.
This attribute applies only to secondary lines; it has no meaning when assigned to
primary lines.
If one or more names are specified in an ALTER LINE command, these names are
added and any previously specified names are removed.
