ASSOCIATE - for SNAX/XF Only
Application types 2 (CONFIG), 3 (CNMAPPL), and 4 (CNMSERV) can be specified in
combination for a single APPL object; however, application types 5 (LUNSAPPL),
6 (LUNSCRE), and 10 (CMAPPL) are mutually exclusive and cannot be specified in
combination with any other application type. Subject to these restrictions, you can
specify the type as one or more integers or one or more names, but you cannot mix
integers and names. If more than one integer or more than one name is specified, the
list must be enclosed in parentheses.
For SNAX/APN, you may only specify this application type as either the integer 6 or the
name LUNSCRE.
For additional information about application types 2, 3, and 4, see the SNAX/CNM
Manual. For more information about application types 5 and 6, see the SNAX/XF LU
Network Services Manual and also, if you are using the SNAX Creator-2 process, the
SNAX Creator-2 Configuration and Control Manual. For more information about
application type 10, see the SNAX Connection Manager (SNAX/CM) Manual.
ASSOCIATE - for SNAX/XF Only
ASSOCIATE specifies an LU subordinate to a primary line that SNAX/XF is to
associate with the LU currently being defined (which is subordinate to a secondary

PASSTHRU ON must be specified for the LU subordinate to a secondary line.
The associate LU name is in external format and has the following syntax:

where system-name is the name of a remote system and slu-name is the SNAX/XF
name of an LU that is subordinate to a primary line.
This attribute can be removed through the ALTER LU command by specifying a null
string (" ") as the value.
Default: Null string (" ")
