AUTOACCEPT

AUTOACCEPT specifies whether or not a switched SDLC line allows incoming calls

after it is started. The default value for AUTOACCEPT is OFF. SNAX/XF applications

using a switched line must issue CONTROL 11 to accept incoming calls if

AUTOACCEPT OFF is specified.

In the SNAX/APN environment, AUTOACCEPT ON must be specified for switched

lines. The AUTOACCEPT attribute has no meaning on an X.25 line in the SNAX/APN

environment.

AUTOLOAD

AUTOLOAD specifies whether the I/O process automatically downloads software for

the CLIPs. The default value for AUTOLOAD is ON.

If the device is line type 58,5 (SDLC) controller and AUTOLOAD ON is specified, the

I/O process downloads CLIP microcode when the CLIP returns an error status to a

status probe. If AUTOLOAD OFF is specified, the state of the CLIP software is

preserved so that a CLIP dump can be taken before reloading the CLIP.

AUTOLOGON - for SNAX/XF Only

AUTOLOGON specifies the name of a record in the LU Network Services (LUNS)

Enhanced System Service (ESS) table that SNAX/XF processes when a permanently

subordinated LU on this line is started. This record can be either a logon command or

an ESS message. If the record entry contains a logon command, the LU is logged on

to the system in the way specified by the command. However, if the record entry

corresponds to an ESS message, the message is displayed at the terminal during

start-up.

The ESS record name can contain from 1 through 8 characters, specified in uppercase

or lowercase. SNAX/XF converts all lowercase letters to uppercase.

When the AUTOLOGON attribute is specified for a LINE object or a PU object with

permanently subordinated LUs, it serves only as a default value for those LUs that did
