14-10
AUTOTESTRESP
not specify the AUTOLOGON attribute in an ADD or ALTER LU command. If the line is
to use switched floating PUs and LUs, or if the PU is a switched floating PU, the
AUTOLOGON value must be specified in the ADD or ALTER LU command. The
AUTOLOGON attribute has no meaning for a line or a PU.
When this attribute is specified for a permanently subordinated LU, it overrides any
value specified in the AUTOLOGON attribute for the superior line or PU. There is no
default value for this attribute, unless the AUTOLOGON attribute is specified for the
line or PU to which this LU object is permanently subordinated; in this case, the line or
PU AUTOLOGON value is the default if the AUTOLOGON attribute has not been
specified on an ADD LU command for this LU.
If the AUTOLOGON attribute specifies either a LOGOFF ESS record or an ORDER
ESS record with STATIC OFF specified, SNAX/XF issues the ESS system error S0006
and the request fails. If the attribute refers to an INITSELF-RECEIVED request,
SNAX/XF issues the ESS system error S0049 and the request fails.
This attribute can be removed with the ALTER command by specifying a null string (" ")
as the value.
AUTOTESTRESP
AUTOTESTRESP specifies whether the level-2 code echoes SDLC TEST frame
commands back to the sender. This attribute applies only to line type 58,1.
BINDENTRY
BINDENTRY specifies the name of a BIND image record in the BIND table named in
the BINDTABLE attribute. The BIND table name is the name of the table as specified in
the SETLOG parameter of the SET table. BINDENTRY is an optional attribute that is
specified only for a primary line or its subordinate PUs and LUs. For SNAX/APN, it
applies only to LUs whose PROTOCOL attribute is CRT or ITI: that is, acquired remote
LUs.

Value: ON | OFF
Objects: LINE
ON specifies that the level-2 code immediately echoes any SDLC test frame
commands that it receives, along with associated information fields, back to
the sender.

receives on to the upper layers for processing.

quotes (")
