DLUNAME - for SNAX/APN Only
DLUNAME - for SNAX/APN Only
DLUNAME specifies the destination Logon Manager for IBM Systems (ILOGMGR) with
which the TLOGMGR LU is to have sessions. This attribute applies only to the
TLOGMGR LU—that is, it is valid only when the PROTOCOL attribute is set to
LOGON.
The DLUNAME attribute is optional. If specified, the name must match the subdevice
name defined in the ADD LU command for the ILOGMGR remote LU. You can specify
a single ILOGMGR or multiple ILOGMGRs (up to four).
When DLUNAME is omitted, the ILOGMGR LU can still initiate the session with the
TLOGMGR LU if the PU where the ILOGMGR LU resides is configured with the
DYNAMIC attribute set to ON. For more information, see the SNAX/APN Configuration
and Control Manual.
When used with the Network Access Method (NAM) to connect Expand across SNA
networks, the DLUNAME of the local LU must reference the subdevice name of the
remote LU. Although DLUNAME is an optional attribute, the DLUNAME must be
specified in at least one of the two systems if the LU is to take an active role in session
initiation (that is, to send a BIND request), or the connection will never become active.
If the DLUNAME attribute is omitted, a dynamic remote LU is added when a BIND
request is received from the remote node (DYNAMIC ON must be set on the PU).
This attribute can be removed with the ALTER LU command by specifying a null string
(" ") as the value.
DSRTIMEOUT
DSRTIMEOUT specifies the time interval that the line-handler process waits for Data
Set Ready (DSR) to be present at the modem interface following a START LINE
command. This attribute applies only to line type 58,1.
When the DSRTIMEOUT limit is reached without receiving DSR, the line is declared
inoperative, and the line’s summary state is changed from STARTING to STOPPED.
The range for this attribute is from 0 through 10:55.35, where zero means
DSRTIMEOUT is not employed. Note that a value of 0 is forced by SNAX/XF on
switched lines.
