FLAGFILL
FLAGFILL
FLAGFILL specifies whether or not the bit-synchronous controller is to transmit SDLC
flags (%h7E) when the line is idle.
FLAGFILL ON indicates that flags are to be sent; FLAGFILL OFF indicates that no
SDLC flags are to be sent.
INITSELFACTION
For SNAX/XF LUs with PROTOCOL SNALU, INITSELFACTION defines the action that
will be taken when an INIT-SELF is received from a SLU and the LU has not been
opened by an application.
The following values are valid for this attribute in an ADD or ALTER command:
An SCF INFO LU command will display INITSELFACTION N/A for all LUs that this
attribute does not support.
Default: OFF
Value: ON | OFF
Objects: LINE
Default: NEGRSP
Value: NEGRSP | POSRSP | SENDNSPE | HOLDCINIT
Objects: SNAX/XF LU (PROTOCOL SNALU only)
NEGRSP specifies that a negative response will be sent to the SLU.
POSRSP specifies that a positive response will be sent to the SLU. This value
should be specified only if SENDNSPE or HOLDCINIT don’t produce
the desired results and then only if the application is configured to
acquire a SLU following the LU open.
SENDNSPE specifies that a positive response will be sent to the SLU. The +rsp
will be followed by:
an NSPE request if the INIT-SELF is format 0
a NOTIFY request if the INIT-SELF is format 1
Note that SNAX/XF does not support the format 2 INIT-SELF.
HOLDCINIT specifies that a positive response will be sent to the SLU. When the
LU is opened by an application, a CINIT will be sent to the PLU.
